Usage pricing

Current usage fees for inbound work. Add-ons apply only when that extra step actually happens.

Standard

Standard Processing

$1.00 / thread

  • USD $1.00 per inbound message/thread
  • Each thread (including replies under the same subject) is billed once
  • Handled promptly during Australian business hours (AEST)
  • External source messages only
Manual review

Staff review

+$1.00 / review

  • Added if a staff member manually reviews that thread
  • Charged in addition to the thread fee
  • Used when a message needs a human decision
SMS notify

SMS Notifications

+$0.30 / SMS

  • Added if SMS is sent for that thread
  • Charged per SMS message sent
  • US phone numbers only at present
  • More countries coming soon
ID check

Verification / ID check

+$0.10 / check

  • Added if a verification/ID check is charged
  • Charged in addition to any SMS for that thread
  • Only when that check is actually performed

Billing Notes

  • Thread-based billing: only the first message in a conversation thread is charged
  • Replies and follow-up messages in the same thread are not additionally charged
  • Manual review, SMS, and verification/ID checks are add-ons and are billed only when they apply
  • Aetia invoices are issued in USD and are tax-free
  • If your portal account is billed in another currency, amounts are converted at the portal exchange rate
